Le récit de notre roadtrip au Shikoku, qui nous a permis de visiter d'autres endroits aussi... 5 jours de, comme ils disent en japonais, memory building!
Once upon a time, little charlou went on a road trip leaving her camera at home... therefore she had to rely on tite olive and pinott's pictures to go further on the quest for a perfect shot... Since she doesnt have those lovely images at the moment, she decided to replace them with tons of links throughout this post, for your own education...
Day 1; from amakusa to hiroshima

Went to the rent-a-car shop to get the little marvel i had reserved... Here it is. The brand new Daihatsu Move (prononcé Moûbe en japonais...).
Départ à 10h20, après s'être débarrassés d'éléments de camping « superflus » comme un futon et une glacière, en raison de l'espace de rangement restreint (remplacé par un espace humain confortable).
En sortant d'amakusa, photo shooting at the famous ariake octopus and with amakusa shiro, young hero who died too soon... but nevertheless a hero.
J'ai conduit à travers tout Kyûshû, non sans être impressionnée par le pont Kanmon nous permettant de traverser sur l'île principale, où j'ai donné le volant à annie parce que mes paupières se faisaient lourdes. Check-in at the hostel in hiroshima before sunset!
Nous avons mangé les yakisoba et l'okonomiyaki famous in hiroshima que nous n'avions pu y manger en janvier en raison d'estomacs peu coopératifs and we slept in a japanese-style room. And visited the A-bomb dome at night, because it is more impressive. Et nous avons ardemment combattu le décalage horaire d'annie, tous ensemble.
Day 2; from hiroshima to tokushima

Second visit of the museum; depressing but really well done... if you have a chance, go. Lunch sur une terrasse et hop! en voiture, direction Tokushima.
Le pont (lire: la série de 6) qui sépare Honshû de Shikoku est a couper le souffle. Additionnées, leurs distances donnent plus de 4km, mais le style qui diffère énormément et le paysage qui les accompagne valent le détour. Infos ici (central section).
Toll roads in Shikoku = $$$. Post-it mental à tous mes lecteurs.
Arrivée à Tokushima. We go around to find the internet cafe, which allowed us to find a well hidden but mostly cheap parking place in the city. Joy. 500 yen for the night, even though it was right next to the station!
Dinner in an izakaya where annie and olivier discovered nabe, comfort food by excellence, qui remplace notre fondue. It was different from the one we usually get around here, but still really good. And sleeping in an internet cafe, other custom worth sharing.
Par contre le proprio était complètement crinqué et parano, ce qui a rendu le séjour un peu moins agréable, mais bon, pour le prix, ça se qualifie de convenable. Et finalement c'était bien qu'ils mettent le max. à 8h am, comme ça on a dû se lever!
